Class Levels
Pilates students are organized into achievement levels from Beginner to Advanced. Differentiated instruction allows our students to progress safely without boredom or diminishing results.
Beginner—New students must complete an introductory private session prior to attending Beginner group classes. Intensive instruction is provided to insure that each beginning student learns the Principles of Pilates and develops precision, concentration, strength and stamina.
Intermediate—graduates the consistent, experienced, stronger student to more a dynamic workout and disciplined approach with students of similar experience and ability.
Advanced—requires intuitive understanding of the principles of Pilates, as well as the core strength and endurance to confidently move through an challenging program at a faster pace.
CLASS SCHEDULE Beginning May 2, 2005
*Mat classes, unless labeled Beginner, are open to Pilates students of all levels. These classes will utilize a rotating array of equipment such as the stability ball, bands, rollers and rings to enhance Body & Soul's Mat progam.
